A GIRL SHOULD BE TWO THINGS: CLASSY & ELEGANT
I am not a fan of eating out on cold pavements, when tempratures are just above 0 C.Roll- on 17th May, when we will be able to enjoy fine dinining indoors!
Below, there is a short list of my favourite places in London ( and beyond ).As much as I like to discover new venues, I always enjoy coming back to the outstanding restaurants! I love food and I am not a vegetarian. I eat a lot of fish, seafood. I love a good steak, too.
Not in a particular order:
1.The Ritz London: traditional or Champagne afternoon tea in luxurious surroundings. Once in a lifetime experience that you want to repeat as often as you can....
2.Bentley's Oyster Bar and Grill: elegant Champagne and oyster bar, serving finest British seafood since 1916. Great for lunch & dinner.
3.Scott's: iconic restaurant in the heart of Mayfair offering huge selection of fresh fish, seafood and caviar.
4.Roka in Mayfair.Award winning Japanese food.
5.Selfridges. For all- day dining, and a very much needed break during a shopping trip: Brasserie of Light Restaurant & Bar.
On the Roof: dreamy Alto by San Carlo, finest Italian cuisine.
6.For late night drinks with a view, GONG Bar, on the 52nd floor, The Shard.
7. Gaucho Piccadily. Argentine food and wine. Great steaks!
8.Sketch London. Fascinating interior design with the most photographed toilets in London. Not to be missed!
9.***** The Elderflower @ Lymington Best tasting menus.
